Gutenburg includes three premade Agentforce actions that can be added to new or existing Salesforce agents. The actions parallel the single-record, multi-record, and mapped-record concepts used by Gutenburg Flow actions.

Use the single-record action when the agentic process should generate document or documents for one Salesforce record.
Many Records
Use the many-record action when the process should generate documents across multiple Salesforce records using the applicable generation configuration.
Mapped Action
Use the mapped action when different records need different document/template mappings as part of the same agentic process.
Add the action to Agentforce
Place the selected Gutenburg action into the relevant Agentforce Agent, Topic, or workflow step where PDF generation should occur.
The purpose of the premade actions is to make Gutenburg document generation a reusable step inside a larger agentic process rather than requiring a separate document-generation experience.
Permissions
The running Salesforce user must have a Gutenburg license and the baseline permissions required for generation.
