A Gutenburg Agentforce document action runs with a Salesforce user context. The running user needs a Gutenburg managed-package license and the baseline Gutenburg permissions required for document generation.
Assign a Gutenburg license
For a named Salesforce user, assign the Gutenburg managed-package license through:
Setup → Installed Packages → Gutenburg → Manage Licenses
Assign the appropriate Gutenburg permission set
For a user whose role is document generation, assign the packaged Gutenburg User permission set.
Use Gutenburg Admin when that same user also needs to create or edit Gutenburg templates.
Apply the rule to Agentforce
When configuring a Gutenburg action in an Agent, Topic, or other Agentforce process, confirm which Salesforce user will execute the action.
That running user must be licensed and permissioned for Gutenburg.
Troubleshooting access
If an Agentforce action is available to an administrator but not to another user, verify the user’s Gutenburg package license and permission assignment before changing the Agentforce configuration.
