Users who generate PDFs
Assign a Gutenburg license to Salesforce users who use Gutenburg to generate documents.
After assigning the license, apply the permission set appropriate for the user’s role.
Users who create or edit templates
Template authors and administrators also require a Gutenburg license.
Use the Gutenburg Admin permission set when the person needs to create or edit templates.
Generation-only users
Use the Gutenburg User permission set for licensed users who generate PDFs but do not maintain templates.
Agentforce running users
When a Gutenburg Agentforce action executes as a Salesforce user, that running user needs a Gutenburg license and baseline Gutenburg permissions.
Experience Cloud guest users
